What does familiarisation training mean?
Training for employees who will be:
Driving a different size of vehicle than they are used to (e.g. moving from driving a small van, to a large van)
Driving a vehicle with a different drivetrain (e.g. training on how to properly drive an electric vehicle, including charging and basic maintenance)
Driving in a new location (e.g. driving in a different country or returning to driving in the UK following previous experience overseas
